Daybreak Homeless Shelter Meals

On each fifth Sunday, 10-12 parishioners volunteer to prepare and serve the noon meal at the Daybreak Shelter in Joliet.

Food Pantry

Donations of non-perishable food and paper products are distributed to families in need. Monetary donations are also welcomed.

Funeral Luncheons

Upon request, a group of parishioners will assist in coordinating and serving a meal following the funeral service.

Martha Ministry

Volunteers lend helping hands to families in need with items such as providing meals, rides, child care, transportation, running errands, laundry, etc.

Mobile Meals

In June, volunteers deliver meals provided by the Morris Hospital to the homebound, handicapped and elderly.

Pastoral Care

The homebound, nursing home residents and hospitalized are visited each week by trained ministers of care for reception of Communion and parish support. School children provide songs and readings during Masses at the nursing homes each month.

Prayer Chain

Parishioners on the Prayer Chain commit themselves to pray for personal intentions requested and for parish intentions.

St. Vincent's Table

St. Vincent’s Meals provides meals for those in need locally. Parishioners prepare and serve the evening meal bimonthly, on the second Thursday of the odd months of the year.
