On each fifth Sunday, 10-12 parishioners volunteer to prepare and serve the noon meal at the Daybreak Shelter in Joliet.

In June, volunteers deliver meals provided by the Morris Hospital to the homebound, handicapped and elderly.

The homebound, nursing home residents and hospitalized are visited each week by trained ministers of care for reception of Communion and parish support. School children provide songs and readings during Masses at the nursing homes each month.

St. Vincent’s Meals provides meals for those in need locally. Volunteer parishioners prepare and serve the evening meal bimonthly, on the second Thursday of the odd months of the year.
